walked in Erwin Park--woodlands, open spaces, birdsong, cicadas, and the most amazing yellow Autumn flowers in bloom. Wonderful!

@lopta thanks for tweeting that you're listening to my song. It's fun to get the notice.
@biotic I love chopping wood! I have not done so in decades, but I have vivid memories of the smell of fresh-chopped wood.
A cinnamon roll, then to the Allen Station Park for a handful of field recordings. A warm day, with an understated nip in the air.
My new remix of "found percussion":with a mallet in a park, paired with spoken word samples is http://ccmixter.org/files/g...
@michaelgregoire how far we have come when leaking the masters is a new media play.
@missmelysse l really love found music and field recording. Today I focused on melodic percusision, so that I can do "songs"
went to the local park with a mallet and recorded various taps and thuds on the equipment and fences--sequencing into songs now.
It's Saturday. The weather is great! This is going to be a great day to be outdoors!
@lopta the wonderful thing about podcasts of radio shows is that freedom to listen later! :)

@sparkcbc Welcome back! We've missed you. Thanks for using "Poem for Karl Guthe Jansky" in your show. Glad to hear it soundtrack a tech bit!
@ruthellison when is Oz Father's Day? Ours is in June!
a great deal of fun working, and now for a fun weekend.
@cashmusic thank you for the shout out ("tweet out"?). I appreciate it.
thinking about getting our 12 year old niece to visit soon. We'll do the natatorium, a place where you paint ceramics, the cowgirl museum.
@michaelgregoire can't help but admire him personally, but his supporters helped reinforce why I vote against his party and his positions.
@lopta it's hard to imagine why, 8 years ago, the incumbent's party put him in this position to ruin our country this way.
The conventions are over. We will get a new--and better--president. I hope that we elect Mr. Obama.
@michaelgregoire I was repeatedly struck by the contrast between the sincere nominee and the silly pep rally chanting.
