  1. Inbox 0 again. I think that's enough work for one day.
  2. @wilshipley Borderlands is mad-addictive. Who's your character?
  3. @frugu New home?
  4. @brentsimmons I may be wrong for this, but I use them when I'm working in a thread and need to easily update the UI using the main thread.
  5. @brentsimmons NSInvocation is great for redirection (proxies) which is what they were obviously used for.
  6. I was prompted to upgrade my 1Password license. v3 is still in beta, but I went ahead and did it. I find 1P invaluable. http://bit.ly/e3MyM.
  7. FastScripts just crashed on me. I'm noting this because this is the first time it's crashed on me that I can recall. Damn good app.
  8. @schwa I always figured that if you wanted ObjC syntax, just use ObjC. Objective-J seems popular, though.
  9. @wilshipley Just a mention of my favorite prototyping/hobby language: Nu (http://bit.ly/wJQ9Y). Built on Cocoa so it tastes like Cocoa.
  10. I'm liking Chrome. The UI has a bit too much whimsy, but if 1Password were integrated, I'd make it my default.
  11. Just purchased Mail Act-On 2 (http://bit.ly/3R0qkb) after having used the original forever. Good software, highly recommended.
  12. Man, Applescript is such a legacy language. I want to like it, but it's so unlovable.
  13. Today's project involves tying together Applescript, Python, and Objective-C. Days like today make me appreciate the various bridges.
  14. @schwa I've often considered finding ways of using them in webapps just so my Cocoa client software can be simpler.
  15. For the first time in several weeks (possibly months), Inbox Zero. I feel kind of free.
  16. @benlachman If it's good bread, you eat the non-preferred slice and cut another off. Repeat until slices are equal size.
  17. (Note: game is not really a consideration, just looking for good hardware.)
  18. If I'm going to replace the entire kit (mic, drum kit, and pick up yet another guitar), which version is recommended?
  19. I finally broke my Rock Band pedal. Duct tape and bamboo skewers rescued it, though. http://bit.ly/4jJSfz
  20. @Conservativeind I appreciate the apology. It's just been happening a lot lately. I don't mind the rhetoric, but it's tiring after a while.
