  1. @KurtJHanson can you explain to me 'when the beans come out the tin' chant? I don't get it.
  2. @CanadianFanboy yeah, in retrospect I should have made a full backup ahead of time. Most is recoverable, pics however, are not. :/
  3. #TFC scores in the 87th minute. Here I was thinking I would miss a goal.
  4. The south side of the stadium is quite rowdy. Of this, I approve. #TFC
  5. Can someone explain the 'When the beans come out tin' chant to me? UK folks, I'm looking your way. #TFC
  6. Crossbar? Yeah, that's too close. #TFC
  7. Timbits soccer at #TFC halftime has put a huge smile on my face.
  8. Plata just got kicked in the face, no call. I misunderstand this sport. #TFC
  9. At my 1st ever #TFC game courtesy of @sjmheron. Rowdy regulars are mia, I have some tall shoes to fill.
  10. ... and the hardware problems I was experiencing came back. Quality product here RIM. About as reliable as the failboat.
  11. Don't trust the #Blackberry restore. Wiped my SD card (pics + music), passwords, & email accounts. Super pissed RIM, super pissed.
  12. @emmamwoolley you do realize we're only having a child so I can enjoy this without seeming weird, right?
  13. @Garratt_J read the comment from "Andrew Brennamen" - it addresses this directly
  14. @Garratt_J I know V & I are the lucky ones with jobs/house/car but we are in a minority among our peers
  15. @Garratt_J cost of getting into the housing market has increased, wages are plummeting, full time work is harder to come by, benefits lack.
  16. @Garratt_J it would be like going without a home phone in their generation, you could do it of course, but it put you at a huge disadvantage
  17. @Garratt_J I see a lot of "I didn't have a computer / cell phone at your age!" but realistically it's impossible to find a job without one.
  18. @Garratt_J forcing up the tuition in Quebec after that generation already took advantage is incredibly selfish.
  19. @Garratt_J It is beyond question that graduating students have it harder today than a generation ago.
  20. Also this: "'Canadian standoff,' a situation where the parties are overly polite and unwilling to let themselves gain at another's expense."
