  1. Any "social business" suggestions for a private investor?
  2. Jet pump sorted. Truck engine sorted. Taking care of the mundane. The mundane will save the world - or what will become the mundane.
  3. 3 things mechanical going wrong at the same time - making for a long Wednesday.
  4. Trying to sort out TDG requirements for methanol - just to know. Just in case.
  5. Skills are just as useful as education (if not more). For example - setting up our trailer brakes with a new truck.
  6. Remember the internet is a world stage. Suppliers that get this, will come out ahead - hint: does your www clearly state your currency?
  7. Another bid in which the mechanical is already spec'd w/o adequate load work and the client is going to pay way more than required.
  8. Panning other sources is a far cry from being the source. Work on being the source.
  9. Want help staying on top of your field? Have a University friend research journals/papers for you every once in awhile.
  10. Don't design to 100% building loads as 100% is only required about 2% of the time. These capital costs are not recovered in energy savings.
  11. Our regulatory bodies need to catch up a bit. Preventing change - risk, liability, prescribed approaches. I'm tired of the status quo.
  12. Continue polluting? - http://bit.ly/JX2q5
  13. OK, I'm going out on a limb and deviating from my professional side: Innis and Gunn - an absolutely brilliant beer.
  14. Japanese, US, and Canadian consumers scored the lowest in consumer behaviors that minimize impact on the environment. Greendex 2009
  15. @HenryEgg Would recommend openess vs marketing content and use your own domain vs. blogspot before you get too far along.
  16. Noticed I have a pretty smart group of followers, so I'd better step it up. Engineering in two sentences?
  17. Duckling vs our truck - http://bit.ly/f5iMQ
  18. Trying to work through the local Ministry of Environment process regarding surface water loops.
  19. @newcomb1 Suppliers? Or loop styles? Waterfurnace. All.
  20. Never have to hand off a resume again - check! Never have to stand in line...fail. Can't figure out a way around that one.
