  1. #Jobseekers. in your cover letter refer to the resume or specific achievements in there that compels the reader to view both documents
  2. @inJenious that's fine. Now they can give you a quarterly bonus and pay rise. Fantastic
  3. @moldor I get faxes all the time with this http://www.stopfax.com.au/ at the bottom. Never seems to work. Wondering if scam.
  4. @moldor The problem these days is people use fax services and they've got auto diallers and electronic operations so probably wouldn't work
  5. @moldor LOL. You evil thing! That is truly mean.
  6. @captain_beef hear hear!
  7. @Lilylauren Will do. There will be a nose hair / eyebrow tip tomorrow morning. LOL
  8. @Lilylauren seriously though, especially for the older man, hair goes nuts where it shouldn't. A more youthful appearance could help
  9. @Lilylauren So I should! Glad I thought of it. (hehe)
  10. @Lilylauren yes and nose hair (once they get older). And fuzzy hair at back of neck regularly.
  11. So Rex Hunt left 3AW. I have to say "big whoop"
  12. #Jobseekers Don't end cover letters with statements that can be used to reject you. Eg"If you wish to discuss"(Reader may think, No I don't)
  13. @GeordieGuy that makes sense to me!
  14. @inJenious resume writers with certs always send this massive signature line. (me included). Something about our industry
  15. @moldor not that I'd know anything about Madam Lash's parlous games of course. Keep digging Gayle, keep digging.
  16. @moldor okay... It sounds like something from Madam Lash's parlour games. hehe
  17. @inJenious welcome to me.
  18. @BillHarper I had this guy's stuff so ingrained, I think I could write it all down now. It used to go right across page in a big long line!
  19. @BillHarper was a financial planner and put "Diploma of Mechanical Engineering" under the name. Oookkk
  20. @BillHarper I used to work for a guy who did that. Agree. Plus the degree didn't match the job he was doing so it was like "so what?"
