  1. #Jobseekers. When networking, hope to receive support and assistance but expect to receive nothing in return for the assistance you give
  2. @Ezi4few ♫ and did I forget 2 mention that I found a new direction and it leads back to me? ♫ I'm spinning around... ♫
  3. @MeghanMBiro Thanks Meghan. Some of the things people say publicly are staggering. Language, petulance, blasting employers. I'd run fast!
  4. @TylerHWilliams I gasp too. Especially when ppl bag their employers, clients and co-workers publicly. Not a smart move at all.
  5. @NatalieDeanne sorry for the delay in replying, I rebooted and forgot to turn on Tweetie again! Thought things were quiet. No nothing yet
  6. Another way for #jobseekers to network is to join professional organisations and associations in any given field.
  7. #Jobseekers. Online behavior is of critical importance. It is important that job seekers think before they type.
  8. #Jobseekers can listen or be engaged as they wish in social networks. No one can see you sweat and you don't have to feel like a wallflower
  9. #Jobseekers. The advantage of Linkedin and Twitter is that you can break the ice before meeting someone in person. Are you active yet?
  10. #Jobseekers. Sites like Twitter and Linked in allow you to identify and participate in thousands of discussion groups and forums
  11. Be aware of individuals with your name (gained from Googling) & what their background is. Let interviewers know this is not you! #Jobseekers
  12. The speed is a bit disappointing though. They said 100 mbps and mine clocks at 34 mbps. Fast of course, but not what was indicated.
  13. It's the first day of my new 100 gig Bigpond plan. *wild look in eyes* what to download first? *rubs hands with glee*
  14. #Jobseekers: Be sceptical of any job offers that involve receiving money or goods and sending them overseas
  15. #Jobseekers. Investigate a job site's privacy policy and make sure the resume can be deleted upon completion of the job search
  16. I'm having a sad internal struggle between the conscientious me that wants to finish this resume and the me that wants to watch TV. *sigh
  17. @Lilylauren not only right but it is mandatory to lie to your personal trainer. I just don't know how you can consider that remotely wrong!
  18. @catebolt The hills are alive....with the sound of music.... sorry I just had to.
  19. #Jobseekers. Protect yourself from ID fraud during job search. Verify companies calling with job. Call and verify the contact works there
  20. @ErinKennedyCPRW hey that's some kind of accomplishment! I have to have a brownie to get over all the calories expended!
