  1. Biggest December snow on record since the 1800's. The joys of living in Mid-Wisconsin.
  2. Reading a bit of Lauren Winner's little book, Girl Meets God. Light, delightful, penetrating memoir of a person being drawn to Jesus.
  3. Missing the grands today. All the Cleveland grandkids were here for Thanksgiving. I thank God for those moments.
  4. Finished reading Scot McKnight's the Blue Parakeet. About how we read the Bible. Makes one think. Makes one squirm. Did me good.
  5. @RunMichael Deep friendships endure through periods when friends wonder if they have a deep friendship or if they just overlook a lot. Both

  19. Just finished Cormac McCarthy's novel, The Orchard Keeper. Not much cheery stuff in it but some great descriptive narratives.
  20. Putting together devotionals for our annual Youth Trek backpacking trip. I can hear the sound of the camp stove coffee beginning to boil.
