  1. It's always good to show humans where I would like rubbed. I was given a good scratch that made my top lip go all wobbly and my nose twitchy
  2. My human came to see me two sun-ups next to each other. Carolynhuman came along too and I had a good brush down and massage the first visit.
  3. On a day like today, it's good to be a horse. Sun, hay, a place to run around and lots to see over my fences. A carrot would've completed it
  4. :for being able to teach my human how to care for me; no sticks, no hits, no spikes in my side, not much around my head and ears, gentleness
  5. @seabiscuit7 I hope you find happy homes for all those horses from the racetrack. They'll deserve a long rest and lots of beet!
  6. @beaugueste they have big wheelies at the back, small ones at the front and rumble along when they take away metal boxes with old things in.
  7. @kittybateman, thank you. I've taught my human to stroke my shoulders if everything is safe and secure when we meet new things together.
  8. A rumblypuller was in my yard, twice my height! I'm a bit nervous of them. My human showed me it was fine to sniff and touch it with my nose
  9. Coming home I made sure my human was still happy to ride through big puddles, go up steep slopes, say where to go rather than tap and relax.
  10. The sun shone on our backs all the time we were out but that didn't mean I didn't make sure my human worked hard to get the best of our time
  11. We climbed up a hill along a gently sloping path, then could suddenly see lots of grassy horse-homes. I could hear new friends everywhere.
  12. It was very stoney in places, and although my human loved me cantering at times, we had to make sure I didn't get flints cutting my frogs!
  13. We went to another new path where humans' rumbly metal boxes had been so I had to take care of us both in case I slipped into a muddy groove
  14. After two moon-ups of the sky falling on our heads in big splooshy blobs, my human let me take us out a long ride in the sunshine today.
  15. It was worth it because I had a surprise extra 'thank you' treat of fresh apples, carrots and bananas before going back to my hay and herd.
  16. I worked hard to take care of Carolynhuman so she'd come and ride with me again. But when we finished I went straight back to my own human!
  17. I taught Carolyn how to ask a horse to do something rather than try and tell and we were soon having fun whizzing around the school together
  18. After that we showed Carolyn how I feel most comfortable being ridden - very soft reins and legs and arms and no sticks - and we tried again
  19. I went a bit faster, still trotting, so my human got Carolynhuman to let go a bit and then asked me to stop by raising a hand in front of me
  20. Then my head went a little bit fuzzy because I didn't want to upset or hurt Carolynhuman. She took a grip of the reins and I got worried.
