  1. @LWinthorpe Here is a long term view of the spread between 10yr and 2yr yields http://twitpic.com/hxdpb .
  2. @LWinthorpe You should be risk weighted so you are only exposed to the steep curve, not absolute yield levels.
  3. @mikestiller I guess it depends on your current position and your pathway for POG.
  4. @tenbagger I guess you are waiting for $3000 Gold. :)
  5. @macroQmicro I didn't know that, thanks.
  6. @pcdunham I am itching to sell like crazy and then I listen to MSM media and feel there is more room to run ;) Sticking to my 1300 target.
  7. @dafowc Being a medium of exchange does have that shortcoming. You can't eat TBills ;).
  8. @LWinthorpe Curve will be much flatter and you make out!
  9. Having said all that, are long time gold holders reducing exposure in this rally?
  10. @dafowc Unlike Oil rising Gold prices don't lead to demand destruction.
  11. @zerobeta I agree and would just add that "money is the bubble that doesn't need to pop." Maybe Gold is being monetized.
  12. Mainstream media convinced Gold is a bubble http://is.gd/59pJK $$
  13. @LWinthorpe That is why I recommend shorting the 2yr vs that position. You lock in your carry cost for 2yrs.
  14. @LWinthorpe Carry! Long rates at 3.25 vs funding cost of .12. Thats a good roll in my book.
  15. @ZipperTheory We think alike you and I.
  16. The end game will happen at a much higher price level, with much higher interest rates. Low rates give the FED ammunition. @GregorMacdonald
  17. @GregorMacdonald Touche ;).
  18. @ZipperTheory IMO talk of a FED rate hike should precipitate a good correction, but even that won't be the big one.
  19. @ZipperTheory Hard to get a fire started with the FED's fire hose raining on your lighter ;).
  20. @ZipperTheory Yes they see no chance of a double dip.
