  1. Nook or Kindle? Had just about decided on a Nook. Then Kindle added native pdf support (for knitting patterns). Now I'm confuzzled.
  2. Birthday present from the doctor: a rigid boot cast for 4 weeks on my right foot due to a stress fracture.
  3. :( when the cure is just as bad as the illness. I'm having bad reactions to the Macrobid I'm taking for an UTI.
  4. The weeks through New Year's already filling up. 2 Xmas tree lots to volunteer at - no store means more hours expected.
  5. Good thing I have so many warm knit things. Furnace pilot light out at home. BRrrrrrr
  6. Finally underway! Next stop Trader Joe's for chocolate reinforcement and peas. Then on to Hofsas House, Coach outlet, and Carmel.

  8. 7 hours of financial aid training? I call it time to complete the lace border on my tree of life shawl. There were 4 knitters in class!
  9. ESPN Zone on the strip for Halloween. After losing 4 games, I think I need to stay away from the tables and just enjoy the view
  10. Flight delays mean more knitting, homework, and Kindle time
  11. Packing for Vegas. Books on Shari's Kindle - check. Warm clothes for 7:30am baseball game - check. What knitting to bring????
  12. The Nook doesn't arrive until 11/30 :(. Will Shari stop speaking to me if I ask to borrow her Kindle for Vegas? Or should I pester Pat?
  13. Sigh, the weekebd went by so fast, but at least the boy is back. Onion soup bread and stew for dinner.
