  2. So I was tired. So I should have napped. So I veered twice. So I had my first introduction to the breath-o-lizer. It is embarrassing. Yep.
  3. After a month on the road, I'm smiling because I'm HOME!
  4. Thank goodness I'm NOT doing NaNoWriMo. I think I'll do PlayMoNapMo. Anyone want to join me?
  5. Awesome times in Naperville and Eau Claire and Rochester. But so good to be home.
  6. Made first public speaking appearance with daughter. At eleven, she stole the show. I'm so proud.
  7. A skunk has moved out of our garage and into our barn. Our barn cats have moved out of our barn and into our garage. Skunk hunt tomorrow.
  8. Thinking about snow. Thinking about heavy snow. Thinking about moving a half mile of heavy snow off driveway. Missing L.A. already.
  9. Getting the place ready for winter. Came early this year. If you're near Mrs. Nelson's in L.A. on Thurs, Oct 8, swing in at 4pm and say hi.
  10. A hen from our first batch of guinea hens hatched out a chick today. Feel like a proud grandparent. Weird.
  11. Back from a great keynote in Denver. While away, a skunk moved into garage. Still there. Tomorrow's project: DeSkunk garage.
  12. Packing for a 14 hr drive to Denver. I hate packing. I hate packing lunches and mini-vans. But Denver should be a blast.
