  1. Unitarian Universalist - have you tried getting involved with this? Any thoughts/reactions? Good source of secular community? Too spiritual?
  2. RT @ChrisDeLeon: Mythology (n.) - yesterday's religion. / Religion (n.) - tomorrow's mythology.
  3. Talking with religious people always involves at least partly talking with their religious leader(s), one-way by proxy.
  4. When and why did you become an atheist? Do you consider yourself simply non-religious, or outright anti-religion?
  5. RT @ChrisDeLeon: A wise man is persuaded by meaning of argument; a fool: by length of argument; a Fox News viewer: by presence of argument.
  6. #youmightbeanatheist if you're humble enough to not be so deluded as to think you have an all-powerful imaginary friend.
  7. "A Collection of Scientifically Valid Proofs for Religious Claims: Thousands of Years of Research" #worldsthinnestbooks
  8. What building or institution do you think of as closest in parallel to church/temple, but open to atheists? (A library, lab, university...?)
  9. RT @AtheistinWA: RT @wiseguyeddie You gotta see this Jesus Venn Diagram: http://bit.ly/2P3aXN? #religion #atheist
  10. Sad that we need to point this out. But true: RT @ladymidnight RT @serafinowicz Christianity as absurd as Scientology: http://bit.ly/1Ch0FE
  11. Fellow atheists: how do you respond to the argumentative religious? Do you argue back? Ignore them? Try to find common ground/befriend them?
  12. Have you seen Jesus Camp? http://is.gd/4tSfl This was where I grew up. No kidding. And it really is this terrifying.
  13. RT @JormaJyrkkanen Religion is a feel good pie baked when we knew nothing about ingredients and its getting harder and harder to swallow.
  14. RT @Bourbons3 [Religion is] not so much a disease, but a damaging state of mind.
  15. RT @yassatoubab Not a disease, but a trait: cowardice. Religion is for people afraid to take responsibility for their lives and actions.
  16. RT @Christy1981: Harmful ...[thinking of religion as a disease]... I prefer to think of it more like an addictive behavior like gambling.
  17. Thinking of religion as a disease: is the metaphor more helpful or harmful? (Just a point for discussion - your thoughts?)
  18. If a teen with religious parents asks you what you "believe in", how do you reply? Complete honesty? Avoid answering? Lie for the parents?
  19. RT @ChrisDeLeon The mighty want rule by might. The intelligent want rule by intelligence. Leaders with neither quality want rule by religion
  20. If you do not approve of religious upbringing for a child (I assume most of us don't), any thoughts on tooth fairy, & other pretend culture?
