  1. Today's paper: A fellow Catholic, Ngo Dinh Diem, has been overthrown as the South Vietnam's President. I hope Kennedy has no hand in this.
  2. @anitaolson I have had my hands full preparing for Easter, but perhaps I can drop in for dinner sometime this week?
  3. Today's Easter Egg Hunt was well attended. I was able to catch up with @peggyolsen, before she ran after her nephews.
  4. I know that Lent is all about self sacrifice, but Hot Cross buns are definitely a silver lining of this season.
  5. I hope my parishioners have been keeping their Lenten vows.
  6. @shortyawards I vote for @PeggyOlson in the Shorty Awards Finals for #advertising because she puts the sterling in Sterling Cooper.
  7. I may talk to the Monsignor about bringing someone in to perform an exorcism on @badpeggyolson. Her words are quite disturbing.
  8. @HullaballooGirl I have heard about Sister Aloysius too. She and I have different views on the concept of Christian charity.
  9. @StarrDJeans Even though I can feel the changes coming, they will be gradual. I'm going to leave it to Peter, Paul, and Mary for now.
  10. @HullaballooGirl Isn't Father Flynn the new face over at St. Nicholas? I haven't met him, but I heard that he has a powerful oratory style.
  11. I think our attendance for Midnight Mass at Christmas matches that of Easter Mass, but I wish we had these numbers year round.
  12. I wonder if Monsignor will allow me to dress up as St. Nicholas to pass out the toys to the less fortunate children in our parish.
  13. Sometimes, when I strum my guitar, it is because I have accepted my parishioners' kindness, which consists of coffee cake and Irish whiskey.
  14. @sterling_cooper You're situated across the street from St. Patrick's Cathedral. Do you ever go there to pray?
  15. @hullaballoogirl Sometimes one must confront the darkness of man, to understand why God sent His Son to save us. re: WWII
  16. I'll let you in on a secret: Before I entered the seminary, I studied the Great War and WWII in college.
  17. Now that Khrushchev has backed down, we have a full pantry.
  18. I'm reading the Good Pope's Gaudet Mater Ecclesia from the opening of the Second Vatican Council. Rejoice!
  19. @liddypol I attended Jesuit schools growing up, so when I took up the ministry, selecting St. Ignatius' order was an easy decision.
  20. The parishioners are asking a lot more questions about the Book of Revelations. It must have something to do with the news from Cuba.
