  1. @VonnCarbon For most people, it is that easy :) But for me, I need to install apps of my own - which need new dev certificates and so on ...
  2. Finally done switching over to my iPhone 3G S. Whew! I hate all the work involved in switching data and apps over.
  3. Anybody in Sri Lanka who's got an iPhone 3G S for sale? Or know of somebody who does? If so, please contact me :)
  4. @theymakeapps Once you e-mail your hello@ address, am I supposed to hear back from you? I never did and it's been about a week :)
  5. @digitaldj Anywhere from US$25 an hour to US$200 an hour - depends on the developer, experience, etc.
  6. @Scobleizer Adium for IM, PathFinder if you want a better file manager, QuickSilver for a lot of stuff, Thunderbird 3 for e-mail. Long list.
  7. @Scobleizer Delicious Monster if you have book or DVD collections, OmniGraffle if you do any wireframing, iTerm for terminal stuff
  8. By way of @AfrimKacaj, He's got a $50 gift card contest for those downloading his free iFight Light app - http://twtaway.com/5zft4e
  9. @adam_orth But can you be honestly expected to have the apps from all the developers out there? :)
  10. Pik's Revenge (http://is.gd/5vvGp) from Fluik is the best RPG I've played on the iPhone! Unlike other iPhone games, I didn't put it away :)
  11. @thegreenfamilia You're not following me - so I can't DM you :) But my e-mail is here (txtninja link): http://is.gd/5uDba
  12. @audomer I'm an iPhone dev. interested in doing apps for kids. If the person you talked to @bransn doesn't work out, I'd be interested :)
  13. @thegreenfamilia If suggesting oneself is can be considered a suggestion, then let me suggest myself :) I'm a professional dev with 20 apps.
  14. @astonwest Thanks for the re-tweet, appreciate it :)
  15. My humorous SF novel, "Honest, the Martian Ate Your Dog" is now available on Smashwords as a free e-book: http://is.gd/5tFOo
  16. @longshotauthor I think you're being way too modest :) What I love about the Dresden Files is the long-term planning. Everything fits.
  17. @laktek @gaveen Ah, that explains it :) I don't really know much about either of them and thought they actually lived here ...
  18. @jst5150 I've just been told by somebody else that they both live in the US - so that explains it :)
  19. I find it interesting that at least two Sri Lankan musicians got iPhone apps done by US firms - probably paid US$10K-20K for it too :)
  20. Update to my iPhone app PillMinder (http://is.gd/5pPje) submitted to Apple. What next? Perhaps a Sri Lankan app though there's no market? :)
