Went to the Paramount theater to see a couple of my junior high students perform in the spring concert. Fairly decent performance.

| Finishing up at the office. Had lunch and ran errands for work. Heading out to do 1 more errand which will wrap up my day. Then to Starby's. |

| Dreaded coming back to work for fear of overwhelming workload. Gratefully, my 4 days off went smoothly at the office, so few fires to fight. |

| Nostalgic for a biological mother I haven't met but would like to and for adoptive mother who met Jesus face-to-face 9 1/2 years ago. |

| Batteries are somewhat recharged after short trip to Brownwood State Park. Mother's Day without a mother =I get to enjoy afternoon alone. |

| Had breakfast @ IHOP, got car serviced/state inspection, voted in local bond election, had Americano in between, now leaving town for night. |

| Was relieved of obligation, so tomorrow I will be making day and overnight trip to Brownwood State Park to spend time with Father. |

| Lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings then saw Ironman. Excellent! I very rarely pay to see a movie more than once in a theater, but this one I will. |

| Had a haircut, Americano, and a few minutes of reading. Bought a much-needed pair of jeans. I want to leave town but need to do laundry. |

| A Black man at a school I visited today remarked regarding the selling of Mexican ice cream:"Those people don't know how to make ice cream." |

| At Madison. Had lunch with 6th grade boys. Funny/sad how 'tween boys' minds haven't changed. |

| Slept in late today--almost 7:30. Have household chores to do but they can wait for a bit. An Americano calls. |

| Taking Thursday and Friday off. Need to start using PTO and get some face time with Father in a quiet setting-either Brownwood or Fort Davis |

| Obama and Hillary splitting Indiana and NC brings fiendish smile to my face. |

| Have 5:15 meeting. Lakeland Revival will undoubtedly come up. Not looking forward to saying that something seems not quite right about it. |

| Small group went well. Now unwinding and preparing mentally for another week. Thinking of taking tomorrow off and seeing Ironman with kid(s) |
