Why is it so hard to find the NYTimes in Chinatown?
| Barely skimmed Twitter all weekend. World did not end. AMAZING. |
| Yea, so make sure to stay in Iron Man until after the credits. Two thumbs up. |
| @deaexmachina MBM? Me = jealous. (another twitter about music, really, last.fm wanted this traffic) |
| @Nexeus Don't know how I missed Ghosts, thx for the heads-up |
| Listening to Portishead Third, just drinking it in. I miss the 90s. |
| @Intellagirl Well that's the rub. No one knows how to value Twitter, because no one knows how to make money with it. |
| Twitter worth $75MM? Step 1: Build microblogging network. Step 2: ??? Step 3: Profit! http://tinyurl.com/3jerf2 |
| In Office Space 2, I'd add the guy with the terrible ringtone who leaves his phone on his desk while out and gets calls all day long. |
| @deaexmachina I have a contender, which gets mad bonus points for misplaced earnestness. http://tinyurl.com/yoq4dl |
| So just what is best practice when people you don't know follow you on Twitter? Trying to balance not being rude vs manageable data flow. |
| Empire State Bldg lit up green for Green Day. Wouldn't a better homage be leaving the lights off? |
| @funksoup Hey, happy birthday :) |
| @Prokofy That was an idea, premium accts only voting. Landowner republicanism, like the early days of the USA. But has its own can of worms. |
| @prokofy Have you blogged why not before? You could run. A won vote confers legitimacy a blog does not. To me, anyway. |
| debating elections for an avatar advisory board with @taterunino at office hours |
| Taking a multiple choice reading comprehension test |
| @wwward Well, yeah, exactly. A service like ClaimID.com is cool. It's not the OpenID ideal, but it's deployable. Server configs aren't. |
| @Nexeus Even "as simple as WP" is too much. It's a network effect, OpenID needs the serverless "what's FTP?" masses to win. All of them. |
| @Nexeus I always run into that in OpenID discussions. Geek blind spot. 99.9% are not and never will be "configure your own server" types. |
