EmailKarma @AnnePMitchell ...with the initiator provisions, then all marketers in the message will be liable as senders.
EmailKarma @AnnePMitchell are you referencing the last line in the final rule for sender - "If the designated sender is not in compliance...
EmailKarma @AnnePMitchell I'm going to have to read the rules again, I didn't get that feeling. The sender is always somewhere in the message - "From"?
EmailKarma @AnnePMitchell yes - the advertiser will control the content in most list rental agreements not the "sender" (list owner).
EmailKarma @AnnePMitchell but that is the point - they should be on the hook - most times they don't control the content at all
EmailKarma @AnnePMitchell the From doesn;t need to be in the messages, but they are still on the hook for opt-outs. that is my understanding
EmailKarma @AnnePMitchell no. this seems odd: the "From" sender must match at least one advertisement within the email. list rental will fail this test
EmailKarma @guykawasaki Shaved Ice is awsome... We get it everytime we got to Hawaii.
