  1. Haha, the people here have great ways to say things: "writing is a front-end loaded process" :-D
  2. @scheipers Ja, klar. Dachte halt man bekommt A4. Doof ist halt 3 hole puncher...muss dann alles nochmal lochen. Unnötig halt alles irgendwie
  3. And no, I wont eat fries, ham, fried egg and sausages with tons of ketchup for breakfast. The smell already is hard to bear.
  4. @scheipers Ja, ich weiss. In China z.B. gibts A4 wie auch in ganz Europa. Also machen wir nemata Rechnungen jetzt letterbox format?
  5. Damn, swiss time accuracy makes you wait a long time around here...okay, I have to change myself again.
  6. Okay no DIN A4 in Toronto...hm, what to do now? Work with letterbox and 3 hole puncher? Import from Germany? Damn it have to think about.
  7. Another unexpected problem: where to find A4 paper and a 2 hole puncher....arghghg...we need international standards now!!! #canadatourist
  8. Getting used to the lifestyle: Eating low fat pizza for $2, running around with a liter of Pepsi for $1.5, all payed by credit card. :-D #fb
  9. I like: The hotline of my mobile provider, Fido, says how long the waiting time is in minutes. Never seen that in Europe!
  10. Keep in mind, both without paying extra for any of these services!
  11. With the credit card the exchange rate is about 3% better than transferring via xe.com. And a lot better than taking cash of course!
  12. I have it now officially: The best way to pay in a foreign country regarding the exchange rates is by credit card. Period!
  13. Selfhtml, the website we all learned to create our first websites (at least in Germany) has now a #flattr button: http://de.selfhtml.org/
  14. @clintonjeff Also das stimmt doch mal gar nicht...so ne verdammt scheisse, die hier mal wieder verzapft wird! :-D
  15. @paede35 Haha, yeah probably because you understand what they are up for. Common: printer $60, USB $30?!
  16. The fact that the telco companies rip you off here, makes Twitter/Facebook/IM even more prone to replace SMS and phone calls. #toronto
  17. Successful day: nemata invoices out - check; bought lots of chinese kitchen stuff very cheap - check, USB cable for $7 - check; :-)
  18. http://twitpic.com/2lxnvp - My workplace for the next 6 month. #fb
