  1. Leaving for a week vacay right now but the purple laptop comes with me so I'll still be seeing you.
  2. I feel so much better having changed my novel. #nanowrimo
  3. 1000 words of replotting. The novel's potential was great but the reality of what I was writing was uninspired. #nanowrimo
  4. @trishheylady The vocabulary was stellar though, from a teacher's perspective.
  5. @trishheylady None. My kids loved it but it was hard to differentiate thoughts from conversation amongst multiple characters.
  6. Finished #reading WHAT-THE-DICKENS by Gregory Maguire. It was fun but not an easy read aloud.
  7. Am #reading the final chapters of BREAKING HER FALL by Stephen Goodwin.
  8. Sunday Salon post is up: http://educatingpetunia.blo...
  9. #wordcount this morning-851 for a total of 27243. Not too bad. But now I'm off. #nanowrimo
  10. Up early so I'm going for a 30 min. #nanowrimo writing session. Let's see how much damage I can do.
  11. Time for some #reading of BREAKING HER FALL by Stephen Goodwin.
  12. Remember, "The only way to write is to write. Writers write. And when they've written, they write some more." ~Jasper Fforde #nanowrimo
  13. #wordcount 1349 so far, 1349 more to go before bed. I'm saving up for #nanowrimo #writingparty tonight.
  14. @BiblioEva I felt the same way about Persepolis but I really enjoyed Maus, as much as one can enjoy a subject matter like that.
  15. I no longer know where I'm going and I'm losing motivation fast. But still, I write. Carry on #nanowrimo friends.
  16. @BiblioEva The 30s have been better to me than the 20 were. A lot of personal growth happens., at least it did for me.
  17. @BiblioEva The Teens bring my 40th birthday, not for a few more years but still, there's no more pretending that I'm a spring chicken.
  18. @SusanneBarrett I'll join you. I need a few 1000 more words. :)
  19. @BiblioEva Isn't it incredible! But it's time to move on from the Noughties. (I love that word to describe this decade.)
  20. @BookBlab The Well and the Mine, Cutting for Stone, Prayers for Sale. These have been my favorites of the year.
