  1. first day back out in the Lit House after many coned days!
  2. Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the Chestertown Book Festival! In other news: 2 days until my stitches and cone are gone.

  9. Cone came off at 10am, so I escaped! Got as far as the front door. Waiting for my 9pm cone-free time.
  10. Kate & Nick came and played the game of Life with me, sans collar! See you at 9am.
  11. Waiting for Kate to come and remove my cone and feed me. Feed me, Seymour!
  12. And now, a nap.
  13. Morning of Day 3: I kind of smell because the cone prevents not only the removal of my stitches but also the proper cleaning of self.
  14. Day 2 of wearing the cone has involved lots of faceplants into things. Like walls, the floor, my litterbox.
  15. Sleeping uncomfortably on my beanbag, in my cone necklace so I don't tear out my new staples.
  16. Came back from vet fine only to tear out my stitches and warrent a trip to the ER vet. Now I have a cone.
  17. Good news, folks. Tumor removed, waking up. Will be home for cuddles after 3pm.
  18. At the vet!
  19. I'm off to the vet in the morning to have the kitty tumor removed from my 16.5 year old self! Send me your good thoughts, literary friends!
  20. @ads60nyc Thanks for asking! We're going to the vet bright and early for surgery to have it removed. Wish me luck.
