  1. @CrushTheCFR I see now, my DMs disappeared into cyber space because you are not following me.
  2. Good morning everyone, I hope you all weren't annoyed by my debate with Carl.
  3. @CrushTheCFR I got to take this to Direct Message, I have 83,000 followers to think about. ;)
  4. @nelderini We do not have a political agenda. We do our best to focus on science, not opinions. There is room for doubt w/ every sci theory.
  5. @CrushTheCFR I am interested to know if there have been other periods of Rapid Climate Change and man's adaptation. How do you define rapid?
  6. @CrushTheCFR It's a fact that man is changing the chemistry of both Air and Oceans, lets agree that is not a wise thing to do.
  7. @nelderini I am totally w/ you. Climate Policy should be based on best science. Minds should remain open!
  8. @CrushTheCFR I respect your PhD, but don't get your point. I don't know how else to say it, I focus on the body of science, not opinions.
  9. @nelderini We welcome all credible scientific work on the subject. IPCC models are a small piece of the picture however, they may be flawed.
  10. @CrushTheCFR What about ocean acidification? You denying that too? Oceans are 30% more acidic in last 100 years due to CO2 levels in air.
  11. Basing Climate Change public policy on contrarian science is like canceling your car insurance becuase there's no proof of future accidents.
  12. @EcoInteractive It is possible that the contrarians are correct. But it would be foolish to base public policy on contrarian science.
  13. Talks Rachel Pike: The science behind a climate headline Video on TED.com http://bit.ly/4zT0oj
  14. @CrushTheCFR Look at Climate Change from a Risk Management standpoint & ask yourself: "What is I am wrong?" What's prudent when uncertain?
  15. @CrushTheCFR I did look at your bio, you are Anthropologist, not a climate scientist. You are offering opinions, not research studies.
  16. @CrushTheCFR I don't know how much more clear I can be, I am interested in Opinion, Public or Scientific, when it comes to setting policy.
  17. @CrushTheCFR There is no point debating opinions. Everyone has there own, mine's not particularly important.I focus on the body of science.
  18. @CrushTheCFR yes, fringe science, meaning minority contrarian sci studies, I'm cognizant that not ALL the sci points in one direction.
  19. @CrushTheCFR Not true, in fact the Oil/Coal industry are the ones buying sci propaganda. All the financial incentives are to work for them.
  20. @CrushTheCFR Believing or Not Believing in C Change focuses on opinion. The weight of the Sci Research is not opinion & mostly points one way
