Back from vacation to total computer meltdown. Now sort of fixed, but days of headache to come.

Occurs to me now I should let work know I won't be reachable for 10 days. They know nothing of this trip. I'm all about the advance notice.
4am: Packing for the lake. 7am flight to CA. Filled my underthings with spices. No, really.
After a scare where Animal Rescue failed to rescue, Sherman the Squirrel's saga ends happily with a state certified wildlife rehabilitionist
Found a newborn squirrel on a sidewalk in Brookline. Called Animal Rescue to pick up, syringe feeding, healthy, warm and squeeking so far.
One project down. One to go.
I arise. Bring out the dancing bears.
