  1. Just received a Christmas card from a couple who live at Pickwick Lake. I don't have a clue who they are.
  2. Fishing always puts me into the environment that I like best.
  3. Would y'all Bama fans mind if I root for the Tide today?
  4. A 1/4 oz grub fished near the bottom will get you bit when fishing the tailrace. Blacks, spots, brownies, crappie, sauger, whites all eat it
  5. Fishing the tailrace of a dam during December gives you those options.
  6. One of the best ways to insure a successful fishing trip is to give yourself a variety of options to overcome various conditions.
  7. A black 3/4 oz sauger jig tipped with a minnow fished vertically is the ticket.
  8. Sauger fishing is heating up on Kentucky Lake. Right now the mouth of the Duck River is a good spot. 15 ft-30 ft is the productive depth.

  10. @FLW_Magazine Fav day was at night on Pickwick. 27 smallmouth, 8 largemouth and a couple of big spots. Best 5 were over 25. Spinnerbaits.
  11. May see the 1st snowflakes of the season this week. That means the sauger will be heating up!

  20. Biggest fish today wanted a Zoom Magnum Finesse worm rigged wacky with a Lake Fork ring weight. Cranks only produced small fish.
