On the train. Even got some use out of my phrasebook. And barring any border hassles, should be in the former constantinople by morning.
Train seems to be delayed coming in from belgrade. Would be more sanguine if the tracks here were numbered...
I think I have a bit of a fever too. Not sure if this is a bug or a virus, but if it gets any worse I might try those antibiotics I brought.
Suffered a "close defeat." Not bad for my first time out. And considering I'm largely pushing buttons at random to find out what they do.
Taking refuge from the weather in the internet cafe. Noah wants to play Rome: Total War, so I'm indulging him. Beats getting wet.
I seem to be fighting off my second illness of the trip. How annoying. Perhaps I shouldn't have been drinking the water in Bulgaria.
My laundry was *almost* dry last night. It's on a rack in front of the AC now, but I fear I'll be carrying a bag of wet clothes to Turkey...
@lowinchen: In NYC? Probably depends whether you're walking up/down or cross-town. But the park just a bit less than three miles long. :-)
