  6. Hungry? You may think so, but you are probably thirsty and mistaking the signal for hunger. Drink water and wait 20 minutes to see for sure.

  8. Animal study shows: high fructose corn syrup causes salt overload that starts a cascade of changes that leads to hypertension. Not good!
  9. Most weight loss, diet or exercise resolutions are already forgotten and it's only 36 days into 2012. Pick up where you left off-keep going.
  10. Eating healthy at Subway: salad with lettuce, spinach, tomato, onion, green pepper, cucumber (optional: tuna, cheese, oil, vinegar).
  11. Parents give kids unhealthy foods cause they won't eat healthy ones. Set a good example. Keep trying & they will grow 2 like healthy foods.
  12. Best way to get in shape is to 1st figure out what you want to accomplish (lose weight overall, lose weight in 1 area, tighten up, etc)
  13. Most pregnant women eat everything in sight rather than giving their baby a good start with fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. Eat healthy!
  14. A handful of nuts can be a healthy snack if raw and unsalted, but nuts cooked in vegetable oil and loaded with salt isn't healthy at all!
  15. @diesel_geek BPA free plastic bottles are supposed to be safe. I still prefer stainless steel or glass though cause I don't trust plastic.
  16. Healthy dinner idea: sauteed meat, onions and peppers wrapped in lettuce leaves. It's like fajitas but yummier and healthier!
  17. Also for depression: licorice tea or capsules, Siberian ginseng called eleutherococcus, tryptophan (taken on an empty stomach with juice).
  18. Natural depression treatment: B vitamins, liquid magnesium, iodine, selenium, zinc. Most are in a good multi like http://ow.ly/4NfTw
  19. @diesel_geek When you microwave food in plastic/drink from plastic, chemicals like hormones get into the food/drink & can cause weight gain.
  20. Vitamin B5 powder (2.5g 4 times a day used for acne or weight loss) tastes horrible in just water, so try it in juice instead.
