  4. @Reharna Different wrapping materials are appropriate in different circumstances. That present was either ironic or just plain wrong...
  5. @Reharna I think you are restricting your wrapping creativity. Paper, fabric, plastic, tape, string, ribbon, light chain can all be used!
  6. One knows one is a bit geeky when one is making gravy and one tries to induce the Weissenberg effect with the milk frother....
  7. @Reharna Depends entirely on the present - duct tape has its own aesthetic which may or may not be appropriate to the gift.
  8. @Reharna @txflygirl I'd be pleased to be given duct tape - wonderfully useful. With that and cables ties, one can fix all sorts of things!
