Great, funny book to read: How I Became a Famous Novelist by Steve Hely. I highly recommend it. About 3/4 of the way through it right now.

What I've learned from my mouse is that when you eat a lot, you have to get on the exercise wheel for hours. Helps if you have a long tail.

@ In addition to Shaw's comment, there is no holiday for writers, just sleep and other distractions. Holidays are unwriterly.
