  1. @djsmackmackey The money isn't the alarming part, though. "Backsies" not an acceptable practice w/physical media, shouldn't be for digital.
  2. Oh the irony: Amazon repossess George Orwell's 1984 from people's Kindles while they sleep. http://bit.ly/7fL8v (via @jaredvork)
  3. Relief! A new writer is taking on World War Z. Respect for Straczynski, I'm a B5 fan, but his approach was all wrong on this one.
  4. @fabiancorrado ...and gives this ridiculous smile, turns and walks away. It was brilliant and I laughed for like five minutes.
  5. @fabiancorrado There's a moment when Slughorn runs into Harry and Ron in the hallway, stares at them, then pretends to remember something...
  6. Fox re-casting Futurama? http://bit.ly/3kNgE Oh HELL no! Includes casting director's email -- tell 'em how you feel. (via @PowerLlama)
  7. @PowerLlama That's awesome. Good point.
  8. @djsmackmackey It's an easy spin. "We can't have evolved from monkeys because if we did we would have known that already!"
  9. @NateCow Different terms, different concepts, and different standards (and amounts) of evidence. Science explains, religion asserts.
  10. @davidstripinis @theeditdoctor I should be able to later in the evening, 9 or 10ish.
  11. Okay tweeps, who's going to Comic Con & which days? I'll be there the whole time, though my Thursday dance card is starting to fill up.
  12. @BadAstronomer Good call. Don't validate them with your participation.
  13. @RyanWieber Is it that time of year already? Congratulations. What do you think of your odds this year?
  14. Last night I dreamed I pulled a granola bar out of my nose and @RainnWilson appeared and ate it. I don't know what to make of that.
  15. @Filmbot Good luck, hope it all turns out alright.
  16. @fabiancorrado Deathly Hallows. Before that hit, Azkaban, though HBP came close.
  17. Arclight had my Kindle. Asshat employee thought he'd be funny and pretend it was someone else's, but I let it pass. Such relief.
  18. @AntoineBandele Compared to Azkaban and Goblet, it was a big step backward.
  19. @mastermike My review is up. That'll show you!
  20. Also, I left my Kindle at the theatre. :( Hope the cleaning crew turns it in so I can pick it up tomorrow.
