  1. @SebaSaint Saints are moving up this week, but defense probably keeps them from No.1 spot. At least for now. But NFL's best offense by far.
  2. @celebridiot Balt. was No. 4, top 3 teams all lost. Ravens won a tough game on the road at San Diego to go 2-0. Is No. 1 really a stretch?
  3. @allenbruggman Relatively speaking, he was to me before Sunday.
  4. @Aaron_Nagler Sounds about right. At least until they get an offensive line.
  5. Just realized my top 3 teams in SI.com power rankings - NE, Pitts, and GB - all lost today. Back to drawing board on Wed. Balt. at No. 1?
  6. Maybe it's just me, but 105K fans make about the same amount of noise as 80-85K. Maybe SRO portion of crowd is quieter without seats of own.
  7. Don't know if this is coming thru on TV, but keep noticing how much the players themselves keep checking out the video boards between plays.
  8. The video boards giveth and the video boards taketh. Dallas didn't give up the TD it should have, but Giants just scored six anyway. Touche'
  9. Funny moment here: The Cowboys cut the video replay of the INT made by Kenny Phillips as soon as it became apparent it went vs. Dallas.
  10. Just kidding. But we all know Madden is one of the more powerful men in our world, and he never has to leave office. Even in retirement.
  11. Sure u saw it, but Madden and Bush in the front row of the lux box, and Goodell in the second. What's up with that? Madden I get, but Bush?
  12. A scoreboard of sorts in regards to punts hitting the video boards: Nothing has even come close so far. Score one for Jerry Jones. So far.
  13. Can't take my eyes off the video screens. You really do have to see them to believe them. But too much HD for Jerry's, uh, cosmetic work.
  14. Crowd of 103K expected at Giants-Cowboys. Wow. Could be a long, slow crawl in some Texas-sized traffic. Can't leave early enough for this 1
  15. Watching early NFL games at an Arlington, Tex. sports bar, just around the corner from Jerry's World, site of tonight's NY-Dallas showdown.
  16. Not sure how Polamalu didn't require a stretcher after watching how his left knee got bent inward by Crumpler's hit. 1 scary hit for Pitts.
  17. Titans rookie TE Jared Cook is inactive, as expected, with a bum ankle. Too bad. He's going to be a play-making beast for Tenn this season.
  18. But Cecil won't be afraid to bring the house if he thinks he can get Ben R. rattled and on the run early, setting the tone for the night.
  19. Can't wait to watch Chuck Cecil's Titans D tonight. Won't be blitz-happy because last year Tenn got pressure on Ben R. with just 4 rushers.
  20. Don't know about you, but the Favre injury report drama from '08 bores me. It's a legit story, because NY played loose with rules. But yawn.
