Comparing the crew of Aliens4 to the cast of Firefly it's a perfect match. Switch the Aliens w/ Reavers & you've got a show pilot.

It's weird, but the film totally feels like an Alien/Firefly/City of Lost Children mashup. Easy to draw comparisons w/ the crew of Serenity.
