If you're on the fence about WWDC, I'd make that decision before the fire marshal makes it for you...
It looks too easy: http://www.kpcb.com/initiat...
@wilshipley Good idea, that whole "leaving the head behind" thing freaks me out.
I just found out alcohol and a match are not recommended when removing a tick. Next time I'll know better.
Buy WWDC tickets early, and buy often
WWDC dates announced: http://developer.apple.com/...
@Schwieb, You typically have to stay with one API set. FileManager caches a lot of the underlying POSIX info
DTS is answering iPhone SDK questions. dts@apple.com
@patrickxb, iPhone Suduko, I like it, I want it. Let me know if you want me to try it on the device ;-)
Anyone write and iPhone apps yet?
About to give an internal presentation on how to write an iPhone application, and what you need to know...
Favorite iPhone Sample:"BubbleLevel" Most useful to me:"UIShowcase", they're all impressive http://tinyurl.com/2qnj3e
OK, back to work, figuring out my Simulator vs Device dependencies.
@danmessing $99 gets you in the program. 2 TSI's and ability to run on the device.
@schwa Not sure, but I highly recommend you join the program with an app or 2 in mind that you're writing.
@danmessing, No, but the $99 developer program is currently only available in the U.S.
@tjw, Trying to keep things slim. No CoreData yet, but we should have some nice sqlite samples soon/now
@rentzsch, you're correct, no auto sync, so you'll have to find another networking mechanism
@rentzsch Have you heard of the internet?
