  1. @Jamwa I bought the now-out of print Criterion DVD of it years ago, excited to watch it again. I watched The Terminator the other day.
  2. In prep for next week's Terminator/Robocop-themed retro reviews, I've decided to go through the Robocop film again. It's been awhile.
  3. @MattGKaplan Yeah, that's probably true. I'm spoiled by Mortal Kombat Vita, which barely eats the battery. Valkyria II is sucking power.
  4. @mnemosynekurai Although Melancholia deals specifically with depression, I personally find Dancer in the Dark's ending more depressing.
  5. Oh, in case you're not familiar with The Choice, here's the TV commercial. It's ... uh ... yeah. youtu.be/aFfVJ7A3Mq8 (@Jetup)
  6. Between NBC's The Voice and Fox's The Choice, makers of large button-controlled chairs are making a killing!
  7. @Jetup I could keep Mortal Kombat in sleep mode for a full day and lose 25% charge. PSP games last maybe 6 hours in sleep mode. Weird.
  8. @Jetup This especially true with sleep mode. I guess Vita games are optimized to take advantage of sleep mode, PSP games just suck battery.
  9. I'm sure somebody has already tested it, but it feels like PSP games suck the PS Vita's power faster than native Vita games. Could be wrong.
  10. Sony needs to release a PS Vita patch that allows me to map the shoulder buttons (often used as camera) to the right analog w/ PSP games.
  11. Day two of my Parks & Recreation rewatch marathon in place. Jean Ralphio just showed up. That's how I know things are going to be okay.
  12. @Bones00 The Vita plays most PSP games, some Minis and "soon" PSone Classics. Not sure about the comic reader.
  13. To the Vita's credit, it does handle the game crashes significantly better than any other console. Just restarts the emulation. Not bad.
  14. I'm starting to see why Burnout Dominator isn't technically available for the PS Vita yet. There are some serious stability issues.
  15. This Week in Defunct Games #194: This week we review Game & Watch Gallery 2 and Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare. bit.ly/Kqm5zz
  16. @DriveForSix It's a PSP/PS2 installment of Burnout released three years ago. bit.ly/KqlcXJ It looks fine on Vita, plays better.
  17. @Jetup I may do that. I haven't used Ad Hoc Play since upgrading to the PS VIta. Used it all the time with Peace Walker on PSP.
  18. Beyond anything else, I'm most impressed with how much better Dominator feels on the PS Vita. Having a real analog stick makes a difference.
  19. I've put in a surprising amount of time into Burnout Dominator on my PS Vita. It's great to play a "traditional" Burnout game. Been awhile.
  20. @sound_on_sight Agreed. My favorite thing about the Criterion Collection DVD I bought years ago was the audio radio plays on the disc.
