  1. After a nice long break from Fairytale Fights, I'm back to attempt this level again. I hate giving up, but ...
  2. It takes me 30 minutes to get to the 5th level boss, and when I get there it gitches on me. I can't even save. It's absolute BS.
  3. Fairytale Fights is currently battling Darkest Days for the worst game of the year. I'm not sure I'll actually be able to beat it.
  4. After a weekend full of non-stop work, I'm lulling myself to sleep with some LittleBigPlanet PSP. Such a phenomenal game.
  5. @lagutey Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking forward to the episode.
  6. @lagutey Thanks for the heads up. To clarify, is this a NEW episode? If so, how many are left un-aired? Thanks.
  7. @jerryterrifying Yeah, now I can stop giving my PS3 review product to other people. Oh crap. I think I just increased my workload. :(
  8. @jerryterrifying The $150 PS3 in question is an unopened Slim model. Brand new. Quite a deal, as far as I'm concerned.
  9. Today I ended up buying a PlayStation 3 for $150. It's about time, I already own PS3 games.
  10. @FalconGN Those are the FIRST speed bumps? I figured Time Warner's (and other broadband providers) limiting usage was the first speed bump.
  11. I'm playing Fairytale Fights for review. I've having a hard time staying interested. Feels like Grabbed by the Ghoulies 2.
  12. @TheSocialGamer Without game reviews how many people would have picked up Braid or Puzzle Quest? Two must-own games in my opinion.
  13. @TheSocialGamer There's room for game reviews in the same way as movie reviews. We point out games that people may have missed or ignored.
  14. @TheSocialGamer I understand. But it's a sign of the times. Games are more complicated and there's more competition.
  15. @TheSocialGamer See, THAT is why you didn't think they were harsh. Nintendo Power bent over backwards to give high scores, as did Sega mags.
  16. @TheSocialGamer If you go back and read early EGM and VG&CE reviews you'll find they are harsh, just with fewer words. GamePro wasn't harsh.
  17. @TheSocialGamer The bias is perception. All opinions are biased, they are just pulling from a larger knowledge of game experience.
  18. @TheSocialGamer The reviews were not "previews" as you say, but full reviews. I have a vast collection of old mags. But I get your point.
  19. @TheSocialGamer Did you not read old game magazines? There were plenty of magazines that reviewed early ROMs and Japanese games pre-release.
  20. Apparently Telltale Games doesn't want me to have any spare time. They released THREE games on the XBLA today, reviews incoming.
