@ Very feasible, CineForm RAW is easier than ProRES or DNxHD, CineForm would cheap enough to be a no-brainer (is they ask.)

@ Not sure what you mean, .looks can be 64x64x64 cubes, and there is no maxiumum number of them in the color database.

@ sounds like you are converting all frames, likely you could benefit from selecting in and out points to speed converts.
