  1. @joshr Thanks for the link - hadn't heard about FullFrontal (http://2009.full-frontal.org/) and it looks great. Have now bought a ticket.
  2. Exploding Gummi Bear: http://tinyurl.com/mufxlm
  3. Pretty Wild Narcissistic Numbers: http://www.numq.com/pwn/
  4. Note to future Dave: to get OSXVNC working on Panther, delete tigerbundle.bundle from contents/resources. What a pain.
  5. Happy Canada Day!
  6. Reddit just changed their feeds to include a link to the subreddit something belongs to. Fever went mental. Bah.
  7. @venture37 Sounds more complicated than a nice, simple, automatically shared text file ... :)
  8. @hairyhatfield Yes, you can specify where the HOSTS file is stored in Windows. Not sure about Linux / OSX but would have thought the same.
  9. @venture37 Was thinking more about having the same thing for work, home, laptop etc. All different networks, OSes etc.
  10. Contemplating sharing a HOSTS file between multiple machines and OSes using Dropbox ...
  11. Liking http://www.twitchuck.com - it recommends following me :)
  12. Jennifer Ellison really wasn't good enough, and for some reason they've not improved the subpar visuals but the show was great otherwise.
  13. Woohoo, War of the Worlds live!
  14. Bye bye Trillian. Your "upgrade to pro" nag box in your new version was enough to push me over to Pidgin on Windows. Much better.
  15. @msofficeus Continuing to use Word to render emails in Outlook 2010? Seriously? (See http://fixoutlook.org and RT!)
  16. Am finally used to vi enough that I can comfortably edit files with it. Why so complicated? Don't see the advantage of it over nano etc.
  17. RT @ActiveParity: Design firm, Brighton, WLTM web designer for FT employment, maybe more. (PS/AI/Flash)+++. (HTML/CSS/WAI)++. (PHP/JS)+.
  18. @peterhough Thanks very much! :)
  19. Pondering on the idea of a voting system for expenses where MPs would submit online, and people would get to vote on the claim ...
  20. Aaaaargh @ vhost.conf, safe_mode and LogLevel debug.
