  1. Turn on a light so I can see what you're doing.
  2. Why am I so fascinated by fonts (aka typefaces)? I suspect it's a left brain / right brain thing.
  3. @Supernova1138 I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...
  4. Some criminals say they have evidence that the best science of the past 50 years is all a hoax. That's all the proof I need.
  5. @orangerful Michael Praed will always be MY Robin Hood. I'm lying, it's Errol Flynn.
  6. Lak Sivrak, Shmi Skywalker, and Aurra Sing formed a band: Lak Shmi Sing #starwarsbandnames
  7. @meerkatdon We're probably better off with just the book -- but a good movie of Canticle for Liebowitz would be awesome.
  8. I want to profess a disbelief in some generally-accepted thing, like the electron, and see how many folks go along with me.
  9. I've seen Star Wars (Episode IV) 79 times, V: 66, VI: 60, I: 49, II: 26, III: 23. I'm the kind of geek who writes them all down.
  10. @kproche "Seamster" looks like the top contender, from responses I've got. Still sounds weird to me, but beats "sewer".
  11. All the sewing magazines and pattern companies seem to use "sewer" as the gender-neutral, generic "person-who-sews". Yuck.
  12. . @librariesrock "Tailor" is specific to clothing, I think; it leaves out other sewing applications.
  13. . @kproche @meerkatdon Seamster? Really? I don't think I've ever seen that in actual use.
  14. I wouldn't mind calling myself a seamstress. "Sewer" is just wrong. How about "seamer"?
  15. As God is my witness, I thought Droid phones could fly.
  16. Giant grocery store sells 1 kind of masking tape, and 16 (8 colors in 2 sizes) of electrical tape. What am I missing?
  17. If you're following me on Twitter and I'm not following you, tweet at me if you care. Maybe I just haven't figured out who you are.
  18. No Heywood Floyd action figure, I bet. RT @yak_face First Look: 2010 Star Wars Packaging http://www.yakface.com
  19. @librariesrock It's at work, so I don't have to live with it. But plenty of folks do. Amazing how the sound carries down the street.
  20. I can stand at my door and hear the low-battery warning chirp of the smoke detector in the vacant house across the street.
