  1. Damn. There's a fly in my house. I'd forgotten what they were like. Summer isn't far off.
  2. Scored a free ticket to Josh Pyke!
  3. @quamen Agree. Last time I used one they kept trying to convince me to go for jobs I didn't have the skills for.
  4. @nickforge What sort of drive are you using? My WD external won't boot a SuperDuper! clone on FW800 but works on USB2.0
  5. Do couples often meet up on trams? Second time I've seen it this week. All very co-ordinated :-/
  6. @Hobbyns Yes, we see things differently out here ;)
  7. @quamen Cool. Thanks
  8. @quamen Anything we need to open the room tonight or do we just rock up? Asked via mailing list as well but not sure if you're checking.
  9. Playing around with SketchBook Mobile. Has anyone used SketchBook Pro?
  10. @nickforge At least two weeks ago. Are those square buttons an attempt to match windows 7?
  11. Update on catastrophic failure: Logic board in iMac is dead. Too far out of warranty to replace. I'm upgrading to a 13" MBP & 24" display.
  12. Headed home to pack for Syd.
  13. Great lecture but it's made me realise how far the Office has the go before we can improve the quality of our UX.
  14. Headed to free lecture at Melb Uni. Human Side of IT -- looks like an interesting presenter line up.
  15. @gosimer can't connect to you tube at the moment. I'll have to check it out later.
  16. Clawing my way back from catastrophic failure. No data loss! HDs seemed dead but PB just couldn't power via bus. iMac's in the shop.
  17. Catastrophic failure last night. iMac, dead. Two external HDs, dead. All seems to centre on my FW800 interface.
  18. Storm clears, hacking starts -- food first though.
  19. Charging the trusty ol' PB for tonight's hacking.
  20. @gosimer when you say 'really smart' what you really mean is 'self aware'. Is it possible? Who knows.
