  3. @IanBriggs1 There are some great comments on our Ryanair story today. Our readers show a level of wit and invention far beyond our own!
  4. Companies ought to know that if they try and hide things from journalists then we only become more determined to find them out!
  5. Just been prevented from entering Cattles AGM in Leeds. They don't want the Press in there. We'll find out what happened later anyway. Daft.
  6. @peter_source Thanks for the tip. It's the only bit of having a dog that I find a problem!
  7. Just interviewed a man who was inspired to buy a company after attending our restructuring seminar - Yorkshire's answer to Victor Kiam!
  8. Should I get a dog or not? The heart says yes and the head says I'm not sure!
  9. Back on Twitter after forsaking it for a few weeks. Enjoyed the YIBC on Friday - and survived hosting a panel discussion in front of 1,000!

  15. Plenty of feedback from comment piece on Leeds Bradford Airport - both agreeing and critical, that's all you can ask.
  16. Twitter down because of too many Tweets? That's either a good sign or the technology can't cope with its popularity.
  17. Damned United is very entertaining. But Brian Clough's house didn't have a hill behind it. Other than that, spot on.
  18. Preparing to interview Leeds legend Eddie Gray ahead of a private screening of The Damned United. I'll let him tell the race horse story.
  19. Now being followed by Spread Germanisms after my last Tweet. Hope it won't be a case of schadenfreude!
  20. Feeling very grown-up. Went to a dinner where the word zeitgeist was used. I always thought it was a German newspaper.
