  1. @TheDalyPlanet The 2005 video game Test Drive: Eve of Destruction did it with more rigid rules (you knew when the eliminations would occur).
  2. @TheDalyPlanet That's basically a series of elimination races for big bucks (and no whammies).
  3. Watching 1992 Indy 500 on ESPN Classic. Showed that Al Unser Jr. was pulling 3.1G's. Bobby Unser: "That's a lot." Thanks, Capt. Obvious.
  4. @RaceHub Hendrick didn't outqualify Tim Richmond in his Cup debut. Richmond wasn't in that race (Hendrick was in Richmond's No. 25).
  5. Just checked the Monaco forecast and there's a 40 percent chance of rain Sunday. Slightly more interesting stuff than normal may go down.
  6. @TheOrangeCone I'll agree with that. I specified 1987 because they were able to cover up the headlights (to match Ford's new T-Bird).
  7. Watching the 2005 Indianapolis 500 on ESPN Classic. Just remembered how much I hated Todd Harris in the booth for IndyCar races.
  8. @TheOrangeCone I'm going with the 1987 Buick Lesabre. Always thought it could have been dominant in Cup if more than 4 teams ran it.
  9. Finally, I found the paint schemeinteresting. Even though that was used on Celicas, it made me think of Ivan Stewart. Old school.
  10. Second, the car looks more aggressive than previous Toyota models. That's only good for a brand that is constantly called "beige."
  11. Firstly, I think that both the top of the nose and the opera windows are squashed a little as compared to the street model.
  12. Just saw the new 2013 Toyota pictures. Quite fetching, actually. However, I do have some thoughts.
  13. Here's my TV critique for this week. frontstretch.com/pallaway/39292/ fb.me/1s0FjkN53
  14. @AndyLally However, Fuel is one of the lowest rated cable channels, so maybe it could fit on SPEED. Definitely at least worth checking out.
  15. @AndyLally As for Street Luge (and other divisions in the IGSA), I think News Corp. would try to pass it off to Fuel.
  16. @AndyLally Saw that Hard Parts preview last night after the All-Star Race. Thought it was a re-tread of the towing show.
  17. Next, my critique from Tuesday. frontstretch.com/pallaway/39063/ fb.me/1QfawflEC
  18. Got to send out some links. First is a preview piece that ran last week in The Record where I talked about Ryan... fb.me/O0Z49M6d
  19. Going out to Lebanon Valley in a few minutes. For now, enjoying some qualifying on NBC Sports Network and eating some fish.
