  1. @chowdown I may have some video / examples online to promote, but the classes won't be free.
  2. A million thanks today for all the espresso class suggestions! This was EXTREMELY helpful! :) I love twitter sometimes.
  3. These courses will be taught in person in the CoffeeGeek Lab, but I'm designing a companion website for it all as well.
  4. The Espresso 201/210 classes are were things get hands on, with intermediate techniques. 20% discussion, 80% hands on, one on one, etc.
  5. @casualbaker ah lol! You're the lucky recipient! Great coffee - very versatile, and has "legs"
  6. @casualbaker glad I did what? :)
  7. @caffedbolla that weighing, fifteen-gestures dosing, goofy cones on top of the PF, etc won't be till the 300 level classes :)
  8. Then an Espresso 110 class (continuation of 101): more spro history, importance of quality grinder, espresso beginner techniques demo'ed.
  9. Espresso 101 Curriculum continued: tasting of sample beverages; introduction to bad vs. good tasting espresso.
  10. Espresso 101 Class new curriculum ideas: brief history of espresso; 4 machine types; what espresso is; basic espresso beverage styles; more.
  11. The main problem I had with my current Espresso 101 curriculum was it was information overload for the test students. Need to dial it back.
  12. REALLY wishing I hadn't given away the Elina Panama from @PTsCoffee on Sunday; I kept a bit for myself, but it was gone this morn. Mmmm.
  13. WOW - some awesome suggestions so far! Keep em coming! What would you like to see in an Espresso 101 (never made espresso before) 2hr class?
  14. These are great suggestions so far, but they seem more of a 201, 301 level class stuff 101 is for people who have never made espresso before
  15. Quick 140 questionaire out there to twitter land - if you were just getting into espresso, what would you want in a 101 class, 2hrs, $45?
  16. The CoffeeGeek Lab Classes are delayed - I was never happy with the 101, 201 curriculae; after a test run, they're being revised.
  17. If you like Coils of Intensity, the CEPD for Wedsnesday, I put up a few others in the series: http://www.flickr.com/photo...

  20. @amcwilliam you'll have to wait for the memoirs! :)
