  1. @gbd I agree 100%: Mex strain is deadly serious. Certainly be extra wary about int'l travel. Was just saying most swine flu != pandemic.
  2. @enormego Yeah, stumbled upon that one 4 mos after 10.5. Seasoned devs can be the last to find out when basic API get fixes & updates.
  3. @gbd Swine flu in the US is mostly hype & prep at present: still working to identify strain(s), & the ~20 struck ill are recovering easily.
  4. RT @myerman: somebody said, "Marketing is the tax you pay for being unremarkable." who was that? do you know? does it matter? it burns us.
  5. Mac Devs, pro talks, great fun, huge success. Ty, cuo. First ever #NSConference
  6. @aallan Thanks, Alasdair, I will.
  7. Really curious about purely functional languages & Haskell after @andrepang's brilliant talk at NSConference.
  8. Looking forward to day 1 NSConference. Heading to breakf-- Ooh, shiny! Other dev's shared iTunes folders...
  9. Enough hermitting in Flat 2. Heading over for a bite to eat.
  10. On main train to NSConference. WiFi and power. Nice.
  11. @pilky #protip Religious see belief as slippy path to afterlife, & mocking it = trying to kill them & family. See "End of Faith" book.
  12. @xslimmer Not that I've found. http://pilky.mcubedsw.com/m... is stale, so I did a http://tinyurl.com/c7eys7
  13. Started following NSConference attendees (EU Mac Developers), but..there are so many. Hmm....
  14. @arepty People only wanted Big Bang Board Games, and now that it's no longer available, ... ;-) #macheist
  15. @gbd We need DST 2.0: More clock changes per year by latitude. Or change # of minutes in hours to get same hours of daylight everywhere.
  16. 99% sure I'm not going to WWDC this year. I'm sure California will find a way for this former Texan to see it again soon, though.
  17. @minofifa Very expensive ($500 iPhone, $1000 all 3), so I don't recommend. I got them as part of attending WWDC last year ($1300+).
  18. Watching WWDC 08 iPhone sessions. The noob info is painful, but my 6 months of non-coding has left me rusty, angry, hungry. Like Sylar.
  19. @pilky 99.99% don't even know about rugby, let alone its tournaments. (including me. :-)
  20. Hooray, Apple! iPod Touch ordered, engraved and received in under 24 hours. Free delivery. Accessories, too. Astounding.
