  1. I'm finishing up the London Writers' Society newsletter. I always learn so much about the lterary world each month when I look for content.
  2. Just updated my blog with musings about "The Muse" and a Prayer For Creativity at: http://www.prayerforce.org/...
  3. Just installed Mozilla; now I'm playing with all the plug-ins. Using Yoono to post this in a sidebar. Very cool!
  4. Rejoicing that my computer is faster, as it had slowed to a crawl. The techs at Staples added 1 gig of RAM and did some cleanup. Hooray!
  5. Gorgeous day. Had fun playing miniature golf with my hubby and stepdaughter. Computer memory is low; need to go out & get an add-on drive.
  6. Time to fix lunch, make coffee and get back to work on an editing assignment. One day I'll get a writing & editing blog up to share tips.
  7. Just realized the power of live video streaming with a chat function. Asking questions and getting them answered live rocks.
  8. @skylimit4 - Moved by the story about the young woman going to Harvard. What guts & determination she has. Must be very smart. Good for her!
  9. Must add I spent half of Sunday reading William Zinsser's "Writing About Your Life." Couldn't put it down. Great advice on writing memoirs.
  10. Spent the last 7 hours updating http://www.prayerforce.org and writing blog posts. I go through phases where it seems I have a lot to say.
  11. Then, except for wp-content, I uploaded all the other files, and hooray! The blog's fine; the theme's intact. Just reinstalled all plug-ins.
  12. With trepidation I updated my Wordpress blog. Backed up the files, deleted the wp-admin and wp-includes files, replaced them and...nothing.
  13. Did something I haven't done for a year - dropped pretty much everything and read a novel cover-to-cover. The novel: Olive Kitteridge.
  14. AustLiterature: Thanks for posting about Richard Flanagan's eloquent speech. Harlan Ellison's peeve: writers are expected to work for zip.
  15. Going to post that short video on my prayerforce blog so someone else may laugh and feel better. But first I'm making some coffee. LOL. ; )
  16. Watched the "3 actions to de-stress" video from Nature Counselor's Blog. She made me laugh, I smelled a non-existent orange & I feel better!
  17. Finally finished the newsletter I send out for the London Writers' Society, and updated the website. It, literally, took me days.
  18. I agree - windows can be a frustrating OS. Next computer I swear I'll try a mac. Goodnight, friend.
  19. Heading off to dreamland after the most wonderful day: gorgeous weather and great conversations with a bunch of friends throughout the day.
  20. Reading the amazing slam poetry of William Evans who performed at the Black Shire Pub last night.
