  1. Essential Thor Vol 1: proof Lee needed Kirby more than Kirby needed Lee. http://tinyurl.com/nayum9
  2. Essential Thor Vol 2: Some of Kirby and Lee's greatest achievements. http://tinyurl.com/lej4en
  3. Essential Fantastic Four Vol 6: Contains the worst Galactus story ever, courtesy of Stan Lee. http://tiny.cc/zp9iQ
  4. Essential Man-Thing Vol 1: Why doesn't this contain Marvel Two In One #1? http://tiny.cc/OT8Js
  5. Reading: Billboards: Well written tales of the future... not for kids! ( http://bit.ly/19xc77 )
  6. RE: @ComicList Irredeemable #4: the series continues to be excellent. You must buy it and read it. http://disq.us/oll
  7. Poe #1: Good stuff. Don't know how historically accurate it is, but you can't go wrong with a Goren/Monk style detective story.
  8. The Thing #8 (2006): A fun story. No epic storyline, no overreaching drama. A Ben Grimm story that isn't grim. I liked it.
  9. Mighty Avengers #24: Tricky stuff. Loki forms the Avengers, again. Quicksilver cleans the slate. Even Jarvis is having truth issues.
  10. Irredeemable #2: OUTSTANDING. Owes quite a bit to Superman and Marvelman, but still an excellent comic. Don't miss this.
  11. Blackest Night #0: I'm looking forward to this series. Still confused on how Batman could die twice. Didn't know Aquaman was dead.
  12. FCBD Avengers: EXCELLENT introduction to Dark Reign, Dark Avengers, New Avengers... creepy to see Osborn in charge and in Cap armor.
  13. Planet Skaar Prologue: Looks a lot like Planet Hulk from the preview. Might be fun to see son and dad battle. http://snipr.com/gvjob
  14. Uncanny X-Men #500: Nice to see Cyclops smile instead of brood. Confused on the Celestial event, but overall enjoyed the comic.
  15. Essential Captain America Vol 3: the Stan Lee stories are not so hot, but once Englehart took over, things improved greatly. 1950's Cap!
  16. Muppet Show #2: an unexpected but satisfying interpretation of the Muppets. Very funny, even touching at moments, and worth getting.
  17. Mr. Stuffins #1: wish I had a bear like this when I was in school. Action, adventure, and marital drama. Get this and come back for more.
  18. Eureka Dormant Gene #1: teenage drama meets superpowers and other weirdness. Worth reading. Looking forward to #2.
  19. X-Men Forever #1: does anyone still get excited about Chris Claremont writing the X-Men? Didn't that ship sail a long time ago?
  20. Daredevil #181 by Frank Miller: as close to a perfect comic you'll ever read. Why did they have to bring Elektra back?
