  1. Headed out to meet with a mentor for 6am coffee. I'm ready to learn with my legal pad, a pen and an open mind!
  2. Super excited to give my mentor Andy Stanley's book, Visioneering as his early Christmas present. He mentioned months ago he wanted it.
  3. Finished with work for the day at "The Way" and now headed to Turlock to pack food for A Day of Hope. It seems to never end. . . . .
  4. Working on some "big" corporate donation letters for United Way this week. Hoping to bring in some "big" donation checks for the cause! :-)
  5. Up getting ready for another day, but thinking about my 6am meeting tomorrow with my mentor. Can't wait!
  6. Getting the week off to a great start with some prayer time and some writing. Feels good to stay focused on the "right" things!
  7. Feels good to be back home in Turlock again. Now its time to prepare to rock-n-roll for the week! A Day of Hope thank you cards and meeting.
  8. Today we leave Alaska to come back to California. I'm excited and bummed at the same time, can't wait to spend two weeks here in December!
  9. Just finished reading the book, Wild at Heart. If you have read it, what is the most significant thing you learned form the book?
  10. Arrived in Alaska at 4pm to twenty degree weather and darkness. Lots of time inside planned for thanksgiving.
  11. On the way to the airport with my baby sister to fly to Alaska.
  12. Yesterday's A Day of Hope event went great! Looks like we'll feed more than our committed 350 families with a box of food and turkey. :-)
  13. Up doing some last minute preparation for A Day of Hope today. Today we'll deliver 350 boxes of food and turkeys to families in need.
  14. Just served pizza and sodas to the volunteers helping to pack food. What are leaders for?
  15. On Sun A Day of hope will be delivering Thanksgiving food to 350 families in our community , please for our us to successfully meet our goal
  16. Finally headed home after spending all night mapping addresses. Gotta be up in a few hours to do more!
  17. Just finished counting and sorting A Day Of Hope food items. We've got over 20,000 items!
  18. Well, the army we volunteers are sorting and counting the food. Lets do it! :-)
  19. Started off my morning by picking up 5 big grocery bags filled with food from a donor. I'm hoping to see more of that! :-)
  20. Up late workin at church preparing for A Day of Hope. Preparation makes execution easier, faster, and more efficient. :)
