  1. @letssitoutside Exactly the point I was trying to make. So many tools for talking, so little time for listening. Maybe I'll try your idea.
  2. @PatiorPotior sometimes I feel like the crazy preacher. But how does the preacher find out simple things like the time when he needs it?
  3. Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Email...maybe I'm using them wrong? These forms of communication make me feel like I'm shouting into the wind
  4. Going home to cut into pavement with a diamond tipped circular saw blade. Pow-pow-power tools.
  5. Sure, it'll suck when the long winter months set in, but at least construction season will be over.
  6. Dear Companies That Send Me Junk Mail: Thank you for sending me paper to write my grocery list on. You aren't good for anything else. üChris
  7. Spending the day outside in the uncharacteristically nice weather.
  8. Great Lakes Beer and the Muppet Show? I think that's a decent start to the weekend
  9. My new hobby: sing jazz tunes in a loud muppet voice until the dogs bark at me or go running from the room. Cool hobby, isn't it?
  10. Cleveland > Pittsburgh....according to a Pittsburghian! (Pittsburger?) http://tinyurl.com/yhgmr4d
  11. Change a few words and it's the saddest article of the day. Change a few and it's the funniest in a long while: http://tinyurl.com/yh8gxbf
  12. Gmail allowed my "vacation response" to be on from 10/29-10/27 (of the same year). New product idea: Google Time Travel!
  13. I need to finish my costume. Soon.
  14. HAHA! You just try listing a job like this in the US! http://tinyurl.com/yljg3zm
  15. @spader, I agree, there's gotta be something better. Do you know of any plugins that show mouse-over previews of PDFs? That could work
  16. I need to start summarizing app notes when I save them locally. I have a folder of mystery files that I don't want to open to figure out.
  17. What better way to break a $20 than to walk into a shady convenience store and buy a tallboy beer? Gotta have singles for traveling!
  18. Days I take off to do manual labor make me appreciate my choice to be a professional nerd. Makes me respect those who do it everyday though.
  19. Not worried about the effects of a consumerist society? Go spend the day cleaning a shed that was the dumping ground of former residents...
  20. I haven't written for a while. I don't really mind either. One of the benefits to not doing it for a living.
