  1. People keep asking me about the unique challenges of marketing fiction. I'm going to blog about that at www.chipmacgregor.com today.
  2. I've had to answer a bunch of questions on my "working with a publicist" blog at www.chipmacgregor.com . Writers wonder: Is it worth it?
  3. People have been asking if it's worth it to pay for your own publicist. It might be, if you have a plan and a budget. www.chipmacgregor.com
  4. While moving, I lost a wrestling match with the washing machine. Laid up, in pain, on narcotics. Ouch. Sorry to post the mundane.

  11. I blogged about the life changes I'm making at www.chipmacgregor.com . Stop by and tell me what you think.
  12. Patti and I are moving to a small town on the Oregon coast, and we're hoping to live a quieter, less-hectic life. Invest in more friends.
  13. So I'm still trying to make changes to my life. No blackberry, emails once per day, online stuff once per day. Cut out TV and most news.
  14. Chuck Sambachino, who puts together Writers Digest "Guide to Literary Agents" is guest blogger at www.chipmacgregor.com, talking conferences
  15. Talking about getting the most out of writers' conferences over at www.chipmacgregor.com - come over and visit.
  16. I gave up TV news for Lent, and haven't felt a need to go back. Less time on Facebook too. I want to focus on people here, in my life.
  17. I'm trying to simplify my life. Go thru emails once per day. No more constant Blackberry checking. Check online once in the morning.
  18. Okay, I'm making the change... I turned in my Blackberry, and went to a candy bar phone -- just a stick for calls and text msgs.
  19. Cec is giving a successful author's perspective about working with a literary agent. It's fascinating stuff.
  20. More wisdom from Cecil Murphey today -- the author of "90 Minutes in Heaven" is at http://chipmacgregor.com/
