  1. I think I need a professional organizer for my classroom.
  2. Here's to hoping our district opens up Twitter for student use. I really think they can learn a lot from it.
  3. Our group is almost finished. Does that mean an afternoon off?!!
  4. I just realized this is the Nancy whose rubrics I've been using all year! I didn't put it all together until she just showed us.
  5. KMBC: Wow. Car dealer offers free AK-47 if you buy a truck. There are no words. http://www.kmbc.com/news/20088205/detail.html
  6. It was a good day today: "Hello, Dolly!" and the Student Press Law Center.
  7. It would be nice to have an entire afternoon dedicated to InDesign and Illustrator. That would be very helpful and hands on.
  8. Learning about infographics. My students really struggle with this. Even if we understand them, we don't know how to create them!
  9. Really torn about which session to attend. I want to do all three -- infographics, video editing and InDesign.
  10. Looking forward to seeing the package our group creates. We're going to shoot tonight. It took a bit to choose a topic, but all is well now.
  11. Ready for a photojournalism class at ASNE. This is the one I'm most excited to attend. She seems to be a great instructor.
  12. My last week of relaxation before two weeks away at the ASNE Reynolds Institute. I'm excited, but can only imagine the hours I'll put in!
  13. I've been very lazy this summer. Now it's time to get to work to prepare for summer school and ASNE camp. I can't wait!
  14. How can I spread out my 8 working cameras among 2 (maybe 3!) PhotoJ classes when I can't require cameras or charge fees? Maybe a grant?
  15. Going to school tomorrow to finish the very last proofs on this yearbooks. I'm so proud of my students!
  16. The problem with buying big toys as birthday gifts is that you have to figure out how to wrap them.
  17. @DetentionSlip This is a scary thing for an adviser. You trust the kids, you proofread, but things can slip by. And you are responsible. Sad
  18. Heading back to school. The yearbook company's software has glitches, and the kids must redo the entire index for the third time. Poor kids!
  19. Woo hoo! It's our very last yearbook late night this year!
  20. New paint, carpet, light fixtures, ceiling fan, curtains and flooring. I can't wait to see how it all ties together!
