  1. SoCal storm makes for great creativity. Lots of glazing and work to do for next kiln firing, but feel like doing art instead.
  2. Thinking about attending the 2009 Clay Festival at the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia. Dates of festival are November 13th-15th.
  3. Just finished loading the kiln full of fun greenware. Feel like getting my hands into some more clay. Happy Sunday!!!
  4. Looking forward to pouring molds and using clay with middle school kids this afternoon!
  5. Attended Aardvark Clay's Open House in Santa Ana last weekend. Picked up some great books and cones at a great price.
  6. Excited about a new project that starts tomorrow!

  12. So sad that Ceramics Summer Camp is over. How did summer go by so fast? Time flies when you're having fun!
  13. Just painted on some broken bisque which we'll fire and use for future mosaic projects. Reduce ~ Reuse ~ Recycle

  17. Getting ready to pour slip and do mosaic projects with the kids in camp tomorrow.
  18. We have a small, but great group of kids in Ceramics Summer Camp this week. They're having great fun playing with clay, & making projects.

  20. Concerned about the CA Gov.'s proposal to sell the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The grounds hold over 300 yearly events, many geared to artisans.
