  1. DPeeps - I'm looking for info/experiences re: antenatal expression/storage of colostrum to use to treat neonatal hypoglycaemia. Anyone help?
  2. On Twitter as more info here re rioting than the BBC. So lost for words that I'm actually tweeting something for the 1st time in months.
  3. @saraknic Knowing what some dentists charge, and with cheap flights these days, you could be on to something!!
  4. @saraknic Difficult for me to be specific online (obviously!) and especially in 140 characters! But you can always email me if you want.
  5. @saraknic many root filled teeth do need crowns due to the size of the access hole. But not all. Depends on the individual tooth....
  6. @saraknic Probably :-) Or better at multitasking or something! :-)
  7. @saraknic blech... sadly a lot of dentists aren't very good at giving straight answers. Hope it's all OK though.
  8. I have quickly remembered why I don't use Twitter anymore... it makes my head hurt! How does anyone keep up, nevermind have conversations?!
  9. @saraknic not logged in to twitter for aaaaages... so just seen your tooth tweet. Sorry I didn't reply! Did you get it sorted?
  10. What is the point of the Queen's Christmas message shown on Christmas day if the contents are a lead news item the day before?!
  11. Love Animas for their emergency shipment of infusion sets while waiting for the hospital to pull their finger out. But, I HATE short tubing!
  12. Here's an important lesson. When you set up and put on a new insulin pump, do remember to disconnect the old one. Erm... I didn't!
  13. Minilink is officially toast. Meter says 5.2, Dex says 5.8. Medtronic says 11.2. No way even close!
  14. My two CGMs just alarmed at exactly the same time! Don't think I'll keep this up for much longer... Feeling too bionic!
  15. Latest: Meter 5.6 Dex 7.0 MM? 11 and going up!!! (to be fair, it is day 8 of sensor - longer than I've had from a MM sensor in a long time)
  16. I'm running a head to head test of Medtronic CGM and the DexCom. MM says 5.7. Dex says 3.1. Meter says 3.2. DexCom has it!
  17. My DexCom is here! Yay!
  18. This is petty, but I'm sore with Animas for only providing coloured Insets in shorter length tubing. I'm stuck with boring gray :-(
  19. Are Tootsie Rolls a negative calorie food? I'm sure you expend more energy eating then than you get from them!
  20. Ian asked "so what's a Tootsie roll like?". I said "horrible". I was just carried away that I'd not seen one in London before.
