  2. Most projects significantly complete on 299 between Redding & Weaverville. Still one-way traffic control in a couple places, minimal delays.
  3. For Labor Day Weekend, no delays starting friday evening! Tuesday, 9/8, back to some daytime traffic control, minor delays.
  4. Top of Buckhorn due to be paved in next couple of days, after that 24 hr traffic control will stop. Yankee Gulch due to be paved next week.
  5. Delays between Redding and Weaverville approx. 45 minutes during weekdays, 15-20 min evenings. Drive safely, slow for the cone zone.
  6. Fire burning SW of Lewiston, Trinity Dam Blvd. 299 currently OPEN, drive with caution, watch for emergency equipment, smokey conditions.

  10. Whiskeytown traffic control ended, no delays. Yankee Gulch and Bottom of Buckhorn continue to have traffic control, expect delays.
  11. One way traffic control at Whiskeytown just west of old Shasta. 5 minute delay.
  12. Whiskeytown Chip Seal is complete as well as striping. Delays between redding and weaverville 45 min weekdays, 20 min nights and weekends.
  13. Current delay of 45 min between Redding and Weaverville, weekend approx 20 min. Bottom of Buckhorn 1-way traffic control, unpaved surface.
  14. Top of Buckhorn under 2-way traffic control. Detour route will be paved tomorrow, traffic will be shifted onto this detour, minimal delays.
  15. 6am to 7pm weekdays, expect delays between Redding and Weaverville of approx 45 min, evenings and weekends of 20 min.
  16. Delays between Redding and Weaverville 45 minutes, be prepared for the heat! Tomorrow, Bottom of Buckhorn will have an unpaved surface.
  17. Tomorrow and Thursday, more work on the chip seal project near Whiskeytown Lake by the Brandy creek turnoff. Slow for the Cone Zone!
  18. Starting next Monday, 7/27, Bottom of Buckhorn will have an unpaved surface and be under 24 hr, one-way traffic control. Drive safely!
  19. Between Redding and Weaverville, expect delays of 45 min during the day, 15 min at night. Some one-way traffic control is in effect.
  20. Delays of 15 min near Brandy Creek turnoff by Whiskeytown Lake today & tomorrow. We're preparing to chip seal a 3 mile stretch of 299.
