CLforJava

  1. I've had to turn the web site off while we can deal with some undesirables. It will back in a week or so.
  2. I've updated to CLforJava to work on Java 6. It works, but doesn't yet some of the goodies in the JVM.
  3. The good. Work on the new compiler is smooth. Should have a new env and integrated structure analysis by year end.
  4. The bad news dept. Found a problem in closures and I don't have the time to fix it right now. Grrr. Need new compiler...
  5. The CLOS work is warming up. We will have a working topo sort that can accommodate Java interfaces in the sort. Cool huh!
  6. Late news in CLforJava. We now have full functionality hash tables. The design also accommodates other then the 4 std ones
  7. More good news. Patrick has the structural analysis working (control flow). Almost done with the data flow code.
  8. Good news. All four hash table types work correctly. Without much work. Use Java hash tables and wrapping the keys. Cute!
  9. Fixed the DEFSTRUCT macro in handling init forms. Unfortunately, it exposed a bad bug in the compiler in handling closures. Rats.
  10. Fixed minor bug in MAKE-ARRAY. Spec is ambiguous if DIMENSIONS has to be a List. I fixed it so it can also take an Integer
  11. From ECLM, most Lisps don't do some common optimizations. CLforJava will with the new compiler (see last tweet)
  12. Whew! Lots of stuff going on. Another student has a full Structural Analysis facility working in CLforJava. On to data flow...
  13. A student has finished the HashTable facility. Now comes down to documentation...
  14. The DEFSTRUCT facility is almost complete. Sometime next week I'll have the INCLUDE option working.
  15. Ok, I messed up integer math. It will now do (/ 1 3) => 1/3. Re-architected math (using Strategy) and forgot one little thing...
  16. For the person that trashed CLforJava because there was no DO-SYMBOLS, it's there now. enjoy
  17. (until-going-home (enjoying '(bison pronghorn deer black-hills) aug-15) *rats*
  18. Remember, the Wiki is open for your reading pleasure. At http://clforjava.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome
  19. Getting ready to go to POSSCON 2009 up in Columbia. Great team!
