  1. CK: The first half of 2012 in music is going to be better than 2011's entirety.

  3. Photo: tmblr.co/Z-DCGyEQcgmE
  4. Merry Christmas, y'alls. CK's top ten, coming soon.
  5. #MySongOf2011 CK: "Countdown" by Beyonce. Tk: "Helplessness Blues" by Fleet Foxes. What's yours?
  6. New post up! CK's Crew of Not Quites and Near Misses 2011, including Song of the Year, honorable mentions, etc: cktk.wordpress.com/2011/12/22/cks…
  7. @Ludovicaa We all are! That's what makes conversations like this possible. CKTK would have no reason to exist without biases.
  8. @Ludovicaa Agreed, though, that CNR is the best track on the album.
  9. @Ludovicaa This crop of parodies, though, is great: Perform This Way, TMZ, CIA, Whatever You Like, Another Tattoo.
  10. @Ludovicaa I always skip Craigslist and If That Isn't Love. CNR and Stop Forwarding are great. Skipper Dan is pretty good.
  11. That concludes CK's third tier: Worth Noticing. Full 2011 honorable mention post coming within the hour.
  12. Weird @AlYankovic - Alpocalypse: The parodies are better than the originals this time, but it's still one of the most fun 2011 records.
  13. Simple Plan - Get Your Heart On!: The best pop-punk album of the year. Yes, some people still make and listen to pop-punk.
  14. She & Him - A Very She & Him Christmas - This would be a top-10 record, but I feel weird putting Christmas albums on the list. So good.
  15. Rave On Buddy Holly: Hot tribute album, including Modest Mouse, Cee-Lo, Florence and the Machine, She & Him, Jenny O, and... Kid Rock?
  16. The Green Album (tribute to the Muppets): What a great year for the Muppets. This is a lot of fun, so is the official movie soundtrack.
  17. John Maus - We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves: Decent, weird, interesting. Worth a listen, but not repeated spins.
  18. Danger Mouse & Danielle Luppi - Rome: Fun concept, a few good tracks, but the whole is less than the sum of its parts.
  19. Chris Thile and Michael Daves - Sleep with One Eye Open: Possibly my favorite bluegrass album of all time. I just don't like bluegrass much.
  20. Again, this is the third tier of albums for 2011. I'm sending one tweet for each (CK).
